Step Back in Time With Us

Pack your bags and get ready to step out of the modern world. We are overjoyed to invite you to Seoul to celebrate our marriage with a traditional Korean wedding.

Full disclosure, even as a Korean, Claire has actually never been to one of these herself! So this isn't just a wedding, it is going to be an incredibly special, first-time cultural experience for ALL of us. We cannot wait to discover the magic of this ancient tradition right alongside you.

The Details

When: Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM

Where: King Sejong The Great Memorial Hall Wedding Hall, Seoul, South Korea

Dress Code: Formal or Cocktail attire.

If you want to fully lean into the experience, we would absolutely love for you to wear traditional Korean attire! To make it easy, we have arranged a special rental service for our guests. You can rent a beautiful Hanbok for the day for 100,000 KRW (approx. $75 USD).

What to expect

The Ceremony

We will be trading the traditional white gown and tuxedo for vibrant, brilliantly colored Hanboks to take part in centuries-old rituals honoring our heritage and families.

The Entertainment

The celebration doesn't stop at the vows! Following the ceremony, there will be traditional cultural performances and shows to keep the energy high.

The Feast

It wouldn't be a true Korean celebration without an abundance of amazing food. We will be capping off the day with a massive, incredible dinner, so come hungry!

Keep the Celebration Going!

For our friends who are traveling so far to be with us, we don't want the night to end after dinner!

Once the formal reception wraps up, we are planning to invite you all to a nearby wine bar in the area for some relaxed, chill time. There is absolutely no pressure, but if you want to grab a glass of wine and keep the celebration going with us, we would love to see you there. (We will share the exact location with everyone as the day gets closer!)
